Meet Henrik

When I joined IRON Pump, I could feel that there was something special about the atmosphere. We are deeply customer-driven and focused. There's room to go the extra mile, and when you do, it's appreciated and encouraged by both our customers and the entire organization.

One thing I quickly noticed was how well new employees are integrated into the team. I joined a wave of hires in 2024, and yet, from day one, I felt welcome and included. There's natural training in the way we integrate new employees. Early in my employment, I spent time in the workshop assembling a pump. Gaining a thorough understanding of everyone’s work gives you an entirely different perspective and respect for colleagues that are performing tasks different from your own. One of the things I enjoy most in my area of work is the craftsmanship of sales, where I have complete control over offers, orders, and where I am sometimes even part of developing new solutions.

Coming from a large company, he took on the role as Sales Engineer at IRON Pump.

As a smaller company, cross-department collaboration is not just desirable, but essential. To me, that’s what makes my work both exciting and dynamic. Everyone speaks with everyone, and there are no silos here. It's a very flat structure, and that's part of the IRON Pump spirit. The management, especially our CEO Anders Frimodt, deserves credit for that. There’s a short distance between leadership and employees, and if you have an idea, you are encouraged. You don’t have to fight through endless layers of approval.

I value that IRON Pump is still deeply Danish at heart. Everything is designed, tested, and assembled here in Søborg. It gives all of us here a sense of pride, knowing that we're adhering to Danish standards and continuing a success story that's been building for over a century.

At IRON Pump, we can take a long-term perspective, make the right decisions for our customers, and stay true to our values. That's why so many people stay here for decades. It's a combination of challenging, meaningful work and a workplace where respect and collaboration are at the core.

"At IRON Pump, you're close to everything: the customers, the products, and the colleagues. There's room to make a difference, and when you do, it's appreciated. I take pride in knowing that what we build here in Søborg carries over a century of Danish craftsmanship", Henrik Munk Nielsen, Sales Engineer at IRON Pump.
