What I really like about IRON Pump is that the entire process is visible. Right from the customer's inquiry until the finished physical product is ready to be picked-up in our courtyard and shipped to a customer somewhere in the world.

Another thing is the opportunities which IRON Pump offers. I was a fitter in the workshop for eight years, and I was also travelling helping customers worldwide with technical problem solving. Since I had an interest in relationships and solutions, I applied for a sales position. The management was positive, and together we created a sales position which matched my skills and interests."

I was well received, my colleagues are friendly and, not least, very helpful. It made it easy for me to settle into my work.

The work is well organized, so I don’t struggle with a lot of problems. On the rare occasion that a problem arises, we work together to solve it. "Due to the size of the company, I have many different types of tasks.

Working within R&D, it is great that our production facilities that include our machine shop, our assembly shop and our test facilities are under the same roof. I know the people who are working with the pumps so they can easily be included in the development work.

We set a lot of goals when developing our pumps. We must consider energy consumption, usability, reliability, price and the suchlike. This leads to some interesting discussions, and I really enjoy being part of this decision process.

Due to the size of the company, I have many different types of tasks. Some are technically detailed whereas other tasks are more practical. It gives me a good variety in my everyday life."
