A Piece of IRON History at SMM 2026

At SMM Hamburg 2026, we will showcase a unique piece of IRON's heritage: the historic LS 245 pump. Originally installed aboard the rescue vessel M/V Vestkysten in the 1940s, the pump remained in service through decades of maritime operations and several transformations of the vessel.
As an early predecessor to the BDV pump series, it represents more than 80 years of engineering, reliability, and craftsmanship.
Visitors to our stand will have the opportunity to see this remarkable piece of IRON history up close.
